New Release beautifully aromatic Island estate grown Sauvignon with aromas of elderflower, guava, green mango, passionfruit, melon and crisp apple, gooseberry and a touch of honey. A well rounded delicious mouthfeel lands on a palate of apple, tropical fruits and ripe pears with a crisp acidity and a lingering finish reminiscent of clear blue skies and long, balmy summer evenings in our sub-tropical paradise.
As a result of 5 rogue vines sent to us with our Merlot plantings we decided to nurture and follow this varietal on our passage Rock vineyard. The fruit proved outstanding and surprisingly resilient. We enjoy now making about 300 cases of tropical and interesting Sauvignon Blanc which is lower in acid and big on personality.
